Naked Single
|
After writing down all the candidate values into the cells, you can come across a 'Naked Single',
which means that there is only one possible value for that cell.
When a cell can have only one value, this value can be safely assigned to that cell.
In the example the highlighted cell can only contain the value 3.
When a value is assigned to a cell,
this value can be excluded as a candidate from all other cells sharing the same row,
column or box.
